CP ZAMFARA FELICITATES WITH MUSLIM FAITHFUL ON EIDIL - KABIR SALLAH CELEBRATIONS.

The Zamfara State Police Command under the leadership of the Commissioner of Police, CP Ayuba N. Elkanah wishes to felicitate with the good people of the state on the forthcoming Eidil-Kabir Sallah celebrations slated for 9th July, 2022. 

The Command in Collaboration with other sister agencies, have put in place adequate security measures in all the 19 Emirate councils of the state in order to ensure a hitch free festival. 

As part of effort to achieving this mandate, maximum number of Police Personnel have been drawn and strategically posted to cover all the Eid praying grounds, recreational centers, business districts, major highways and other critical infrastructures across the 14 LGAs.    

The Command therefore urges members of the public especially parents to monitor their wards and ensure they don't involve in any criminal activity. On the other hand, commuters  and other road users are advised to avoid over speeding so as not to endanger the lives of innocent people. 

The Commissioner of Police while reassuring of the command's commitment to safeguard the lives and property of all and sundry, congratulates the Muslim Ummah  and wishes them happy Eidil Kabir Sallah celebrations

B I Annual Baby Show Zamfara State Awards fully Vaccinated Children in the state.

The zamfara state primary healthcare has awarded children who were fully vaccinated within nine months of their birth.

Speaking during the occasion, the Honorable Commissioner Ministry of Health Alhaji Aliyu Abubakar MC, said the purpose of this award is to sensitize people about some of the dangerous diseases that affect child's development such as Hepatitis and other killer diseases.

The commissioner who was represented by Executive Secretary Zamfara State primary health care Dr Tukur Sama'Ila Gusau, urged breastfeeding mothers to always bring their children for immunization. He explained that those virus mostly affects under 5 years children.

The Commissioner also thanked their core NGOs workers especially UNICEF, WHO and SAVE the children for their kind support to the health sector in the state.

In his remark,the program Manager Mustaph Alin Kilo Anka lamented that, the main purpose of this gathering is to inform people about the most popular killer diseases which mostly affects children especially under 5 due to lack of complete immunization.

In their separate speeches the Gusau Local Government Sole Administrator Honorable Sanusi Sarki, represented by his Vice Alhaji Surajo Magami and Director Health Gusau Local Government Mallam Bashar Isah thanked the Organizers of the event and assured them of their total support at any giving time.
