Insecurity : Zamfara - CP Kolo Yusuf Visits Emir Of Anka, Seeks For support, Collaboration.

 The Commissioner of Police Zamfara State Command CP Kolo Yusuf has today pay courtesy visit to the Emir of Anka and Chairman Zamfara State Council of chiefs, Alhaji Attahiru Mohammed Ahmad CON, at his Palace in Anka.

The commissioner reassure sustained commitment to end the lingering security challenges bedeviling the state.

According to police spoken person SP Shehu Muhammad said  the visit was for the CP is to familiarise himself with the  Traditional Rulers being among major stakeholders in combating activities of criminal elements across the state, so that both can be on the same page for effective service delivery.

While at the Emir's Palace, the Commissioner of Police thanks His Royal Highness for his unalloyed support and collaboration with the Police and other security agencies, and assures the Emir for the Command's tireless commitment to ending the lingering security challenges bedeviling the state for over a decade. 

On his part, the Emir of Zamfara, commends  the Inspector General of Police IGP Usman Alkali Baba psc+, NPM, fdc for posting CP Kolo Yusuf to Zamfara whose track records have been testified by all and sundry. 

The Emir pledges more support and cooperation to the CP and all the security agencies by extension, to enable them achieve the mandate of safeguarding lives and property of the citizens.

The Commissioner of Police was accompanied by the DC Operations, DCP Dauda Mamman Commanding Officers 42/78 PMF Squadrons, Commander CTU Base 18 Gusau among others. 

Taxation:; ZIRS Shuts Down Activities Of Three (3) Companies

The zamfara state board of internal revenue service ZIRS has today ordered the closure of activities of 3 companies in Gusau due to the non payment of their annual revenue taxation of their respective companies.

The executive chairman of the board Alhaji Ali Akilu Dama Bungudu gave the directive during the street sensitization campaign in Gusau the state capital.

The affected companies are Gaskiya Funiture Gusau, Dave more international campany  Nigeria Limited,  and P R O Digital Photo Palace respectively, added tha,  the exercise would continued across the state till Friday 09/09/2022.

The chairman emphasized the important of collection of revenue, as according to him this will make the government to provide funds needed to invest in developmental projects,  relieve poverty and deliver public services, physical and social infrastructure required to enhance long term growth.

He said every citizen needs to pay his tax in order to enable government to provide social amenities to them like good roads hospitals, portable drinking  water, agriculture, security and many more to serve as  divedends of democracy.

Dama further explained that the essence of this street sensitization campaign is to appreciate the companies that have  paid their annual taxation, he however informed the public the important of paying revenue in the society, and sensitise defaulters who always  avoid or refused to follow the rules and regulations of zamfara state board of infernal revenue service.

The chairman also led the team of his personel to the Gusau Emirate council for seeking fatherly advice.

 The Emir of Gusau Sarkin Katsina Alhaji Ibrahim Bello,  thanked the chairman for the visit,  and assured the general public that, the Gusau Emirate is always  ready to give board all neccesory support and cooperation when ever the need arises
