A Non Governmental Organization (NGO) Health and Integrity of Women and children Development Initiative Nigeria has described women as back bone of nation Development.
This was stated by the founder of the NGO (Health and Integrity of woman and Children Development Initiative Nigeria), Hajiya Aisha Abdu Gusau during an interview with newsmen in Gusau.
Aisha Abdu Gusau explained that the NG0 was created 17 years ago, with aimed of promoting the interest of women and youth.
" We are struggling to ensure that women and youths who were left behind become self reliance".
Aisha Abdu Gusau Explained that, the NGO has recorded so many achievements which includes payement of registration fee of orphans and less privilege people in some part of the State.
“We are Planning to train some traditional leaders and Youths by January 2023” Godwilling".
”Also,we have concluded arrangement to train women and Youths on the interprenureship, which will kick start next week in the state ".
She called on other Non governmental organizations and wealthy individual to assist women and youth for them to be self reliance.
In her Contribution, the Gender Program Officer, Health Interigity of woman and Children initiative, Hajiya Sha' awanatu A. Ka'oje urged woman and youth to participate fully in the activities of NGO's for them to be more productive.
She noted that, woman and youth are left behind particularly on interprenureship and skills acquisition programmes that would assist in becoming self reliance.
In her Remarks, the Savings and credit cooperative officer, Hajiya Fatima lami Muhammed, highlighted on the importance of formation of cooperatives and micro credit groups on Income generating activities, and livelihood sustainability.
