NATIONAL TRANSFORMATION PROGRAMME AWARDS ZAMFARA STATE GOVERNMENT.

The organizers of the just concluded National Transformation Programme have honoured Zamfara state government for its efforts to provide jobs for the youth, community peace, unity and security programs. 

This was disclosed by the Permanent Secretary in the state Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, Dr Barira Ibrahim Bagobiri in an interview with the newsmen at the venue of the Programme in Calabar, Cross River state. 

The Permanent Secretary said that officials from Zamfara state have spoke on job creation, poverty alleviation and security issues during a session at the Conference. 

The Permanent Secretary emphasized the aim of the Zamfara state government of creating unity and peace among Muslims and Christians communities. 

Other state government officials who spoke at the National Transformation Programme were Director of Administration Hajia Aina'u Sani Ahmad and Director Women

Hajia Zara'u Abdu Gusau all from the state Ministry of Women and Children Affairs.

Dr Barira said that all the participants of the Conference were happy with the speeches presented by the representatives of Zamfara state.

Zamfara Commissioner for Women Affairs, Commends Court Of Appeal For Declared Binani Governortorial Candidate As a Victory For Women

The zamfara state commissioner for women and children affairsHajiya Zainab Lawal Gummi has described the declaration of Senator Aisha Binani by the Court of Appeal as a legitimate gubernatorial candidate as a victory for women and everyone who loves truth across Nigeria, not just Adamawa state.

This was contained in a press release issued by the Information Officer in the state Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, Malam Suleiman Isah and made available to newsmen in Gusau.

 According to the press release, Hajiya Zainab said that the victory shows the people of this country that the courts in Nigeria are ready to ensure justice wherever necessary.

She advised the women of Adamawa state to thank God for the gift and assured them that they will get all the rights they deserved because Senator Aisha is a fair person in all her affairs.

The commissioner congratulated the senator for her victory and advised her to take the issue of women and children seriously if she succeeds in becoming the governor of Adamawa state.

ZAMFARA POLICE : BURTS TERRORISTS GANG, RESCUES 1 YEAR OLD, 6 OTHERS.

The  Commissioner of Police Zamfara state police command Mr Kolo Yusuf Commends Operatives, Reiterates the Command determination to Restore peace and Security in the State, the commissioner revealed that on 25th November 2022, after successful rescue kidnapped victims from the bandits.

He said the Police Tactical Operatives in collaboration with Vigilante acted on intelligence information regarding the abduction of Six (6) women and a 1 year old child by bandits terrorist at Kadamutsa village of Zurmi LGA on 24th November, 2022. 

The Police operatives mobilized to the location where a search and rescue operation was conducted  along Zurmi - Jibiya axis, leading to the unconditional rescue of all the victims  unhurt. 

This contained in a statement signed by police public relation officer SP Muhammad Shehu and made it available to the news men in Gusau the state capital.

Shehu said the victims were taken to the hospital for medical check, debriefed by the Police detectives and handed over their families. 

The Commissioner of Police, CP Kolo Yusuf psc, while commending the Police operatives and vigilante for the successful rescue operation, congratulates the victims for regaining their freedom, and reiterates the Command's continuous determination to rid the state of criminal activities and apprehend criminal elements committing heinous crimes across the state.
