The State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Zamfara State Command, Commandant Sani Mustapha has assured the leadership of the Zamfara State Community Protection Guards of the cooperation of the Corps in the fight against brigandage in the State.
Commandant Sani Mustapha gave this remarks when he hosted the leadership of the Zamfara State Community Protection Guards code named ASKARAWA at the NSCDC State Headquarters Gusau Zamfara State.

Commandant Sani Mustapha said the CPG is a child of necessity that needs to be encouraged in other to carry out the herculean task assigned to it. He urged the leadership of the CPG not to hesitate in liaising with the Corps in other to ease the Prosecution of their mandates.
In speaking earlier, in the visitation the Commandant of the ASKARWA Col. Yandoto Rtd who led the team, eulogized the roles NSCDC has played so far in the fight against brigandage in the state. The Army veteran said that, the essence of the visit was to canvass for the holistic support of the Corps to CPG.
The Rtd. Col. emphasizes on synergy and collaboration amongst all agencies to stem the tide of insecurity in the state.
