Zamfara State Hajj Commission has successfully airlifted Three Thousand One Hundred and Two intending pilgrims to the Holyland this week.
The intending pilgrims were airlifted by flynas Saudi Arabia Airline at Sultan Abubakar the Third International Airport to Madina.
This contained in a statement signed by the public relation officer Mallam Bello Musa Sidi and made it available to the newsmen in Gusau the state capital.
According to the statement said the success recorded was as a result of the early commencement of this year's Hajj preparation by the commission.
With this development, all Zamfara State intending pilgrims that arrived Madina have conducted their visitations to important places in Madina City.
The state last flight which arrived Madina last Sunday comprised Zamfara State Government Delegation for the 2023 Hajj led by its Chairman Alhaji Musa Mallaha (Talban Gusau) and some of the Management Staff of Zamfara Hajj Commission left Madina today for makkah after completion of their visitations in Madina.
It could be recalled that the present leadership of Governor Dr Dauda Lawal constituted a 5-Man Committee as Zamfara State Government Delegation for 2023 Hajj under the leadership of Alhaji Musa Mallaha who serves as Chairman and Dr Aliyu Adamu Bormo as Committee Secretary.
Before leaving the country, the committee conducted series of meetings with Management Staff of Zamfara State Hajj Commission in regards to this year's Hajj.
This year, Zamfara State has been in the forefront in airlifting of its intending pilgrims to Holyland across the country as other states have been up and doing towards ensuring the airlift of their intending pilgrims before the closing date.
As the time of this report, all Zamfara State intending pilgrims moved to Makkah waiting for Hajj exercise.
To this end, the Committee Chairman Alhaji Musa Mallaha called on the state intending pilgrims to abide by the Saudi Arabia Hajj authority guidelines right from Makka, Munah, Arafat, Muzdalifa and Jamrat with a view to conducting acceptable ibadat.
