The Zamfara state Governor, Dr. Dauda Lawal Dare has promised to tackle the insecurity, that bedeviled the socio-economic of the state, improve Agriculture, as well as creating job opportunity, Healthcare service and Human empowerment in the state.
The Governor made the declaration today shortly after taking oath of office and pleged of allegiance along his Deputy Malam Mani Mummuni from the State Chief Judge Mrs. Kulu Isah Aliyu at the Zamfara Trade Fair Complex in Gusau.
He the gave assurance that his main priorities are; Security, Agriculture, Job creation, Healthcare services, among other key sectors will be the priority of his administration.
On the area of security, Lawal specifically promised that he will collaborate with other governors in the Banditry affected states that includes Kaduna, Katsina, Sokoto, Kebbi and Niger Republic to ensure the Insecurity issue come to an end.
He urged Zamfara youths to lay down arms as the Government is committed to ending banditry, kidnapping, cattle rustling and other crimes being perpetrated by the miscreant elements.
Dr Dare also assured that his administration will offer scholarship to Zamfara students provide free ante-natal care for pregnant women in the state.
The inauguration ceremony was well attended by the former Minister for Defence General Aliyu Muhammad Gusau (Rtd), the PDP gubernatorial candidate in the just concluded 2023 election, Isah Ashiru Kudan and his party chairman among other well wishers from across the country and beyond.
