The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, Federal University Gusau chapter, Zamfara State, has assured the Executive Chairman of Zamfara State Universal Basic Education Board, ZSUBEB, Prof. Nasir Garba Anka (Makama of Sokoto ) of working synergy, support and cooperation in his efforts towards addressing factors militating against development of basic education in the state with a view to revamp the sector.
The chairman of the union , Comrade Dr. Abdulrahman gave the assurance during a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman to congratulate him on his recent appointment as the chairman of the board in hi office, Gusau, the state capital.

The chairman of the union , Comrade Dr. Abdulrahman gave the assurance during a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman to congratulate him on his recent appointment as the chairman of the board in hi office, Gusau, the state capital.

According to the statement said Dr Abdulrahman said the congratulatory visit at his office to congratulate him on his new appointment was imperative considering the fact that he was the pioneer chairman of the union who had served in the capacity for good three tenures and laid solid foundation , coupled with unforgettable legacies for union
The ASSU Chapter Chairman described Prof. Nasir Anka as a man of his words , visionary and a leader per excellence who always has respect for others, adding that his success is also theirs and for the Federal University Gusau being its former employee.
Dr Abdulrahman advised Prof. Nasiru Anka to carry everyone along, reiterating the union's readiness to always give him necessary support and cooperation for him to succeed in his new assignment.
He commended the state Governor, Dr. Dauda Lawali for giving one of them, (Prof Anka ), the opportunity to serve under his administration.
Responding , the Executive Chairman of ZSUBEB, Prof. Nasiru Garba Anka thanked the august visitors and affirmed his determination to carry everyone along in his leadership of the board, inclusive of the union in view of its enormous roles as a stakeholder of education.
""we will continue to seek your contribution and advises for the basic education in the state to excel"", Prof. Anka concluded.
