Senator Yari Donates Cholera Preventive Medications To Bakura And Talata Mafara Affected Communities.

The former Governor of Zamfara State and Senator Representing Zamfara West senatorial district, Senator Abdul'aziz Yari Abubakar has Provided some lifesaving Cholera Preventive Medications to Bakura and Talata Mafara Local Government Areas as response to Cholera Epidemic in the Senatorial Zone.

Yari who was Presenting the materials through his Co-ordinator, Zamfara West Senatorial Co-ordinating Office, Talata Mafara, Alhaji Sha'aya S. Pawa (Ɗanmalikin Mafara) said the Senator's rapid response attitude to the epidemic was an exhibition of his continued genuine concern about well being of his Constituents.

He explained that the delivery was to provide the much needed materials at the right time for the treatment of patients of  the epidemic as well as the prevention of further scourge of the disease in the affected areas.

Represented at the event by the Bakura Local Government Area Officer of The Zonal Senatorial Co-ordinating Office, Hon. Sabi'u Yargeda, The Co-ordinator reiterated that efforts will be  sustained by Senator Abdulaziz Yari towards uplifting the Standard of living of the People in all aspects of human development.

Alhaji Sha'aya S. Pawa who sympathised with the People of the affected Areas especially the Victims also stressed the importance of using clean water in domestic chores to avoid further escalation of the disease.

Receiving the Materials on behalf of their People,  The Senior District Head of Bakura Emirate and Marafan Bakura Alhaji Muhammadu Bello Yusuf S/Ɓurmi III and Galadiman Mafara, Alhaji Malami expressed immense gratitude to the Senator for the gesture, adding that the materials will be properly used with a view to arresting the situation.

Distances Yourself From Politics Governor Dauda Tells Zamfara Ulamma'u.

The Zamfara state Governor Dr Dauda Lawal has appealed to the Ulamma'u consultative council ( UCC) to distance themselves from politics it's not your business because other role to played, which is very important which is inform the people what is right what is bad.

Governor Dauda disclosed this today during a weekly preaching organised by the state ministry for religious affairs, for a 24th years annaversiry for introduced the Islamic shariah in the state, under the leadership of former Governor senator Ahmad Sani Yariman Bakura in the year 2000.

The Governor reacted to an Islamic scholar Dr Atiku Balarabe Zawiyya who challenge the Governor and his government, saying that, the government under the leadership of Governor Dauda Lawal has abounded the Sharia and in the state using tecnocrat for running the without listening the conrcen of Islamic scholars.

He lamented that, I'm ready to helping the Islamic shariah in all any kind of Assiistance and all necessary support academically and financially, but I'm not accepted any munufalation to spend government resources in the named of shariah,he concluded.

In their sparates speeches the Honourable commissioner for religious affairs Alhaji Suleman Adamu Gummi and his permanent secretary Mallam Bashir Sarajo Gusau, thanked the Governor for supporting the ministry with all necessary support for moving the Islamic shariah forward in the state.
