NGO In collaborates With Bungudu Emirate To Trains 250 Youth.

A non governmental organization, Bungudu concerned citizens group (BCCP) in collaboration with bungudu Emirate council has organized skills acquisition training to 250 youth and women in order to be self reliant and useful members in the society.

The skills include Domestic Electrification, Solar installations, Cosmetics, Tailoring, Plumbing, Bags making, Shoemaking, Cake,and Dish  Set Leigh installation Weaving,and Henna Decoration.

Speaking to newsmen on the coordinator of the group Masaud Ibrahim Bungudu said the training was part of the group commitment to reduce redundancies and encourage youth and women especially graduates on different  skills acquisition.

He said the participants drawn from different wards in Bungudu the local government area. The programs have been blessing by the Emir of Bungudu Alh Hassan Attahiru recently.

 

The Emir charged the government at all levels and wealthy individuals to support the participants with the takeoff after the training.

Insecurity : Zamfara - CP Kolo Yusuf Visits Emir Of Anka, Seeks For support, Collaboration.

 The Commissioner of Police Zamfara State Command CP Kolo Yusuf has today pay courtesy visit to the Emir of Anka and Chairman Zamfara State Council of chiefs, Alhaji Attahiru Mohammed Ahmad CON, at his Palace in Anka.

The commissioner reassure sustained commitment to end the lingering security challenges bedeviling the state.

According to police spoken person SP Shehu Muhammad said  the visit was for the CP is to familiarise himself with the  Traditional Rulers being among major stakeholders in combating activities of criminal elements across the state, so that both can be on the same page for effective service delivery.

While at the Emir's Palace, the Commissioner of Police thanks His Royal Highness for his unalloyed support and collaboration with the Police and other security agencies, and assures the Emir for the Command's tireless commitment to ending the lingering security challenges bedeviling the state for over a decade. 

On his part, the Emir of Zamfara, commends  the Inspector General of Police IGP Usman Alkali Baba psc+, NPM, fdc for posting CP Kolo Yusuf to Zamfara whose track records have been testified by all and sundry. 

The Emir pledges more support and cooperation to the CP and all the security agencies by extension, to enable them achieve the mandate of safeguarding lives and property of the citizens.

The Commissioner of Police was accompanied by the DC Operations, DCP Dauda Mamman Commanding Officers 42/78 PMF Squadrons, Commander CTU Base 18 Gusau among others. 

Taxation:; ZIRS Shuts Down Activities Of Three (3) Companies

The zamfara state board of internal revenue service ZIRS has today ordered the closure of activities of 3 companies in Gusau due to the non payment of their annual revenue taxation of their respective companies.

The executive chairman of the board Alhaji Ali Akilu Dama Bungudu gave the directive during the street sensitization campaign in Gusau the state capital.

The affected companies are Gaskiya Funiture Gusau, Dave more international campany  Nigeria Limited,  and P R O Digital Photo Palace respectively, added tha,  the exercise would continued across the state till Friday 09/09/2022.

The chairman emphasized the important of collection of revenue, as according to him this will make the government to provide funds needed to invest in developmental projects,  relieve poverty and deliver public services, physical and social infrastructure required to enhance long term growth.

He said every citizen needs to pay his tax in order to enable government to provide social amenities to them like good roads hospitals, portable drinking  water, agriculture, security and many more to serve as  divedends of democracy.

Dama further explained that the essence of this street sensitization campaign is to appreciate the companies that have  paid their annual taxation, he however informed the public the important of paying revenue in the society, and sensitise defaulters who always  avoid or refused to follow the rules and regulations of zamfara state board of infernal revenue service.

The chairman also led the team of his personel to the Gusau Emirate council for seeking fatherly advice.

 The Emir of Gusau Sarkin Katsina Alhaji Ibrahim Bello,  thanked the chairman for the visit,  and assured the general public that, the Gusau Emirate is always  ready to give board all neccesory support and cooperation when ever the need arises

Emir of Gusau Loud Albishir Ochard Children School in Promoting Islamic Knowledge

Albishir  Orchard Children School  Gusau has been Commended for its role play in Promoting Islamic Knowledge in Zamfara State.

The Commendation was made by the Emir of Gusau, (Sarkin Katsinan Gusau) Dr, Ibrahim Bello  during a Walimat of Students of Albishir Orchard  Children School   Islamiyya Section held at the School Premises,

Dr, Ibrahim said that, the Commendation became imparetive Considering that, the way and Mannar Students  have Knowledge to the Children, urged the School Management to Maitain the tempo,

Dr, Ibrahim Bello called on Parent and Guidance to send their ward to School,  to aquire knowledge both the Islamic and western Education.

2023: Remain united for Our Success -- ADC chairman urges Members.

Ahead of 2023,African Democratic Congress(ADC), chairman in Zamfara state,)0 Kabiru Garba Gusau has urged party supporters to  remain united for the forthcoming general election.

He said ADC was fully prepared for the Election,"we are delighted that NEC members and governorship candidates of our party were able to mitigate the trouble brought into our party by mischief makers".

 He congratulated National working committee,NWC, members of the party and national officers for the extension of their tenure by one Year.

He explained that, ADC supporters are law abiding citizens they cannot  spend the needful time for preparation to general election and engaged with in house fightin

He further congratulated national officials who  succeeded in building the part  to its present standard. 

According to him  ADC needs all hands on deck for its victory,

"our constitution does not recognize the forum of  Chairmen, therefore all states Chairmen should focus on their states.

He said ADC NEC decisions was the best for our party at this time, "i advised all our candidates to prepare and focus for 2023 campaign throughout the 36 states and  our presidential candidate,Dumebi Kachikwu".

HISBAH COMMISSION ZAMFARA STATE TO COLLABORATE, NSCDC

The Hisbah Commission Zamfara State has opted for optimum collaboration with  the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Zamfara State Command to ensure a crime free society.

The Chairman of the Commission Alh. Ashahabu B Zoma who led the management of the Commission on a courtesy visit to the Corps , stated this during a courtesy visit yo the commamd in Gusau.

The Hisbah Boss reiterated that Civil Defence Corps has obtained a higher pedigree in the society and has proven to be an institution with high level of integrity and discipline. 

He opined that the Corps has demonstrated high level of synergy with the Commission in the past , he however requested for the continuation of such synergy under the leadership of Commandant A A Sparks.

Meanwhile, Commandant A A Sparks has assured the Commission of an optimum collaboration and synergy as the two  agencies are out for a similar goal and objectives in the State.

The State Commandant however admonished the Commission to always ensure a smooth inter agency relationship for a better operations and discharge of their mandates.

Insecurity : Zamfara Police Arrests Ex Army Corporal Who Supplies Weapons To Bandits.

The Zamfara State Police command has paraded one Sa'idu Lawal a 41-year-old retired  military corporal, with Ak47, Ak49 and 500 round of live ammunition.

The suspect was also believed to be aiding a notorious bandit leader Dogo Hamza terrorising residents of Zamfara and its neighboring states.

Addressing newsmen on Wednesday evening at the Police Command in Gusau, the police public relations officer SP Mohammed Shehu said the suspect served with Nigeria Army 73 battalion janguza Kano barracks before his retirement in 2021.

Shehu said on be half of the Commissioner of Police Zamfara State Command, CP Kolo Yusuf, I welcome you to our Press Conference here in the Police Command Headquarters Gusau, where we will parade a notorious kidnapper who specializes in Armed Robbery, Kidnapping, Gun Running and other heinous crimes”.

He further explained that, the suspect has for long been disturbing the peace and security of Zamfara State and neighbouring Katsina, Kaduna, Niger, Kebbi and Sokoto States. 

“On 27th August, 2022 at about 1730 hrs, Police Tactical/Escort Team attached to the Commissioner of Police Zamfara State Police Command, CP Kolo Yusuf psc acted on actionable intelligence that led to the arrest of the suspect who was an Ex-service personnel of the Nigeria Army attached to 73 Battalion Janguza Army Barracks Kano”. 

“The suspect was intercepted with a Pontiac Vibe vehicle with registration number KRD 686 CY Lagos, along Abuja – Kaduna enroute Zamfara State”. 

According to the police spokesman search was conducted on the spot and the exhibits were recovered in his possession.

The exhibits recovered include 1 AK-47 Rifle Breech No. Q971987 ,1 AK-49 Rifle Breech No. 34-7094, 200 7.6mm Rounds of Live Ammunition, 501 7.62X51mm Rounds of GPMG Live Ammunition and 8 Empty Magazines.
