A lawmaker representing Shinkafi Zurmi federal consituency at national assembly Honorable Bello Hassan Shinkafi has flagged off the training of over 300 youth and women on various acquisitions in order to be self reliant and useful members in the society.
The participants where selected from the 21wards in Shinkafi and Zurmi local government areas in the state, and the skills to be training for includes modern teaching methodology, domestic electrification, solar installations, cosmetics, tailoring, plumbing, Bags making, Shoe making, Cake,and Dish Set Leigh installation Weaving,and Henna Decoration, among others.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after closing the programs, Honorable Bello Hassan Shinkafi said, the training was part of his commitment to reduce redundancy and encourage youth and women especially graduates on different skills acquisition.
The lawmaker further explained that, the skill acquisitions training is part of his mission to carry along the youths and women in the area to acquire their own skills, and can prevent them from being a political thugs, and they will be useful members of the society in their future.
In his goodswill massage the PDP chairman Zurmi local government Alhaji Sani Muhammad Zurmi thanked lawmaker for his commitment for developing the youths and women to benefit with dividends of democracy.
According to him, the representation of Honorable Bello Hassan Shinkafi, to the people of Zurmi, Shinkafi federal consituency in Abuja has resulted a lot of impacts, added that our people now search an avenue to rewards our good ambassador Honorable Bello Hassan Shinkafi and all people Democratic party PDP candidates in 2023 general elections.
