NYSC ZAMFARA STATE SEEKS COLLABORATION WITH NSCDC ZAMFARA STATE COMMAND.

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Zamfara State seeks for synergy and collaboration with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Zamfara State Command in the protection of prospective Corps members at the NYSC orientation camp in the state.

This was made known when the newly posted State Coordinator of the Scheme in Zamfara State Alh. Abdulsalam  Alhasan paid a courtesy visit on the management of NSCDC in the state.

This contained in a statement signed by the command public relation officer CD Ikor Oche and made available to the newsmen in GUSAU the state capital.

According to the statement said the State NYSC boss who revered the Corps in the area of gallantry and security of lives and properties in the state, opined that NSCDC has performed excellently in the protection of prospective and serving Corps members  deployed to the state.

He said that the Corps is an  invaluable stakeholder in the NYSC Scheme in the state, as such it therefore behooves on him to pay a courtesy call on the management of the Corps in order to familiarize himself with the organization.

Alh. Abdulsalam Alhasan however solicited for more collaboration between the Corps and the Scheme in Zamfara State.

In a related development, the State Commandant of the Corps, Commandant Muhammad Bello Muazu welcomed the newly posted State Coordinator of the NYSC Scheme, according him, the visit was apt and timely especially at this period. 

The State Commandant, appraised the NYSC Scheme in the state for contributing to the national intergration  which is one of the sole aims of the Scheme.

The Commandant Muhammad Bello Muazu however reiterated that NSCDC under his purview will do everything within its powers to assist and collaborate with the Scheme in the state in the area of security.

He posits that the Corps would always carry out covert and overt operations in order to decipher the security of every Corps members and the facilities of the Scheme in the state. He therefore encouraged all Corps members to feel free as their security is guaranteed based on the synergy the Corps has  enjoyed with other sister agencies.

Commandant MB Muazu enjoined the State Coordinator  to always approach him for any security assistance as he is always ready to accord him his requests at all times..
